“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” Albert Einstein
Redeemer proudly offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) from Early Learning to Year 6. The PYP is an international framework, a philosophy and a way of teaching developed by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO). This quote from Nobel Prize winner, Albert Einstein, supports the practice of inquiry learning and critical and creative thinking as the foundation for teaching at an IB PYP School. Redeemer is committed to academic engagement and achievement and our children have the privilege of learning in an environment built on best practice and recognised through IB World School Accreditation.
Our talented teaching staff endeavour to provide an individualised learning approach for each child in their care. Through regular, globally-recognised professional development and the support of our school’s director of teaching and learning, our teachers are best placed to provide your child with a strong foundation for successful learning.
Our Village learning is enhanced by specialist teaching in the areas of Physical Education; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Inclusive Education; Digital Technology; Japanese; Visual Arts and Performing Arts. All our specialist programs have been carefully designed to ensure that we develop the whole child and cater for 21st Century learners.
