Student Wellbeing
Children at Redeemer grow and learn in a safe, caring, responsive and empowering environment. Embedded throughout our teaching and learning program is an understanding of the importance of social and emotional learning and the whole child. At Redeemer we are deliberate in establishing strong foundations of physical, social, emotional and spiritual health so your child will be supported in their lifelong learning, living and wellbeing.
Our Wellbeing Team work alongside our staff and children to develop the social and emotional learning through in class support, small group work or one-to-one check ins. Through the work of Zones of Development, the Kimochi program, Keeping Safe Curriculum and other wellbeing resources we aim to equip our children to enable them to flourish in the real world.
At Redeemer, we offer a range of extra opportunities for students to develop confidence, leadership and communication skills. These experiences include Student Leadership, facilitating lunch-time Clubs, Learning Journey Night, leading whole-school Assembly and Worship and service learning at the ELC.
