Redeemer families celebrated the end of Term 2 with an inspired PFA-run ‘Dress up your Dash’ or ‘Kar-dash-ian’ competition to mark the anticipated end of relying on Kiss & Drop. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, families have done an amazing job using Kiss & Drop to deliver children of all ages to school each day, rather than walking them onto the school campus. This competition drew plenty of smiles and laughs for the children, families and staff alike.
Term 2 also concluded with the exciting news that Redeemer has been selected as am Australian Education Award Finalist for Non-Government Primary School of the Year. Redeemer is the only South Australian school shortlisted in this category, and one of two Lutheran schools in the final six. This follows Redeemer’s breakthrough win for Innovation in Learning Environment Design in 2019 for the Upper Primary Centre. The award winners will be announced in Sydney later in the year.
We look forward to seeing families back at school from Monday 20 July to commence Term 3.
