In the lead up to their Year 7 Exhibition in September, two of the Exhibition teams that are focused on eliminating poverty participated in The Hutt St Centre’s ‘Walk a Mile’ Fundraiser on Friday in an ambient temperature of about 2 degrees. The event marked the culmination of the 2-8 August Homelessness Week.

At the time students started walking, they had raised over $2,000 to help end homelessness. “We are extremely proud of the students’ efforts,” teacher Emily Knapman said, “They walked over 11 kilometres to raise awareness and money for the homeless community of Adelaide and work towards reducing poverty.”
